Our farm is surrounded by green meadows and forests on the southern slopes of the nearby Alpe di Siusi. In the heart of the fabled mountains of the Dolomites – a UNESCO World Heritage site since 2009 – on our farm you may experience South Tyrolean hospitality and pure enjoyment of nature. The Sciliar, one of the most famous mountains in South Tyrol, is clearly visible from the balcony of your farm holiday apartment.

During you farm holidays, in just 10 minutes by car you may reach the Alpe di Siusi, which with its 56 square kilometres is the largest mountain plateau in Europe. This offers you unlimited possibilities to turn your holiday into a special experience. In every season, the Nature Park Sciliar-Catinaccio has a particular charm. Both in spring and in summer the meadows stand out in fresh green and are covered with thousands of alpine flowers. A walk along the 350 km of well-marked hiking trails, in the midst of this beautiful natural scenery, animates all your senses. The varied landscape also invites you to climbing, biking and paragliding. In winter, the Alpe di Siusi is covered with a glittering snow carpet. Cross-country skiers, winter hikers, snowshoers and skiers can freely indulge in their hobbies. As our guest you will receive a special car permit that allows you to drive on the beautiful Alpe di Siusi.

Our holiday apartments in Siusi allo Sciliar

We have created for you three cosy and well furnished non-smoking holiday apartments. They offer a light-filled, spacious eat-in kitchen with a panoramic balcony, where you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the majestic mountains of the Dolomites.

Depending on the apartment type, there is one, two or, if necessary, three separate double bedrooms with a private bathroom offering shower and toilet. Furthermore, TV, radio and internet access are available. We will delight you with our home-made products such as fresh milk, eggs from happy, free-range chicken, aromatic herbs and crispy salads from our farm garden and deliciousjuices and jams made from our sun-ripened berries. The culinary offer is completed by daily delivered fresh bread rolls.

Rural farm life in Siusi allo Sciliar

On our farm there are cows, calves, goats, cats, rabbits, chickens and ducks. A farm holiday in Siusi allo Sciliar on the farm “Grunser” offers you the unique opportunity to learn about the daily life on a real farm with all its different aspects. If desired, you can help out in the barn and with hay work or participate in the berry harvest. You are welcome to give the farmer’s wife a hand and sow seeds, set seedlings, weeding and collecting herbs in the garden.

Your kids can romp freely on the playground with swings, slide and sandbox, while you soak up some sunon our large lawn and relax from everyday stress. An unforgettable highlight is the birth of a calf or chicks hatching.
