with Barbara Mahlknecht
The farmer’s wife Barbara Mahlknecht loves to spend time in the open nature – in all seasons she takes long and short hikes into the Dolomites. Barbara particularly adores the many alpine flowers and wild herbs; she photographs and documents them since many years. To share her enthusiasm also with in-house guests, in 2011/12 she has participated in a 43-days course to become a nature and landscape guide. The training was completed with two written tests and one practical examination, and since then she imparts interested guests her knowledge and enthusiasm for the beautiful nature, which surrounds us particularly in the Nature Park Alpe di Siusi – Catinaccio.
