The views range from the Bolzano Basin to the snowy Presanella up to the Ortles Group, and along the ridges of the Oetztal Alps to the lovely villages and pastures of Renon and the Villandro mountains. The Alpe di Siusi is throughout the year a wonderful hiking area and a paradise for active holidaymakers and nature lovers. In the winter, the Alpe di Siusi becomes a winter sports centre with ski slopes, cross-country ski trails, toboggan runs and a snow park for snowboarders and freestylers.

The farm Grunser is an authentic South Tyrolean mountain farm with a long tradition. It is located only 3.5 km from the villages of Castelrotto and Siusi allo Sciliar. We manage a livestock and berry farm. During your farm holiday in Siusi allo Sciliar you also have the opportunity to participate in our farm life and – if you wish – help us with the hay work, the berry harvest and the daily farm chores. In addition to our dairy cows and their calves, also cuddly cats, colourful feathered chickens, rabbits, goats and sheep live on the farm. Many farm products are home-made by your hosts. Since our environment and health is very important to us, we take great care not to use any pesticides and artificial fertilizers. During your farm holiday in Siusi allo Sciliar you may enjoy the delicious fresh milk and eggs, as well as the many tasteful vegetable and berry species from our garden – as fresh as it gets!

You will spend your farm holidays in Siusi allo Sciliar in a family atmosphere – in the spacious and bright apartments with 1-2 or 3 cosy double bedrooms. Each bedroom has a private bathroom with shower and toilet. You will not miss any comfort during your holidays at the farm Grunser. Each apartment has a private panoramic balcony, which is furnished with chairs, a table with parasol and sun loungers. Internet, TV, radio and a hairdryer are available in each apartment. The kitchen unit is equipped with a ceramic hob, oven, refrigerator with integrated freezer, kettle, coffee maker and all necessary cooking and eating utensils. For a small charge you can use our washing machine. In each apartment there is a large collection of games. The farm’s library invites you to read and discover.
